History
It's been more than 95 years since Leonidas Hamodrakas established the first outdoor fish tavern on the sea shore of Nea Krini, which still stands today in the same place taking us back many years ago only to remind us that "Hamodrakas" is the oldest fish tavern in Thessaloniki. In the far-famed quarter of Thessaloniki, Kalamaria, at the coast of Nea Krini, the historical fish tavern offers since 1926 fresh fish to natives and visitors.
Based on the decision of Ministry Macedonia & Thrace, address of culture, the restaurant "Hamodrakas" was characterized as preservable under the name "Restaurant Hamodrakas" "number 828/21-2-2002",for its volumetric outline, its use, and its environmental space, recognizing the particular contribution that it has offered as recreational space and as an element of its city's history, maintaining memories and habits of its habitants.
